Beechwood create integrated campaign for Jameson Irish Whiskey

Jameson Irish Whiskey launches a St. Patrick's Day Campaign on the 1st March. The Campaign challenges consumers to put Jameson with a mixer (coca cola, lemonade, ginger ale) as an alternative St. Patrick's drink to the traditional beer or stout.
The campaign idea "Mix it up a bit" also offers the chance to win a trip to New York, to stay in a luxury apartment with 5 "like minded strangers".
John Wood, Managing Director of Beechwood says:
"The whole idea is just part of a whole new positioning for Jameson- a drink for those with the confidence to be a bit different. The idea translates through all trade channels including major multiples, wholesalers, bars and pubs and puts the new Jameson strategy at the heart of their promotional campaigns".
Beechwood were appointed by Pernod Ricard UK after a three way pitch in October 2004.
